Alpha Point releases new product, the IDA - Intelligent Display Administration.

The new IDA is a management and maintenance function which can integrated into most of our products. It's functions can be done remotely almost anywhere over network. IDA controls the device also automatically: for example if the temperature or humidity rises too high or goes too low IDA recognizes the situation and protects the device.

Other functions include for example: turn off the display or PC, adjust brightness/contrast, select different picture source, check the internal temperature/humidity of the device and analyze the statistics gathered by IDA. And all of this can also be done thru the Internet or LAN (Local Area Network).

The AP4200PRO/PC is a complete PC and a big display in one flat package! Slim and stylish design with a huge, bright 42” screen make it possible to use in a variety of applications.

Alpha Point Ltd. supplied new public transport information displays to Helsinki-Vantaa International airport in the spring of 2004. Whole system with software was fully functional in the summer 2004.

AP3000PRO/PIDS display device is our latest integrated panel-PC product, AP3000PRO/PC. The huge 30" TFT display, with high brightness and contrast fits great to the airports bright lighting conditions. Devices are equipped with Linux operating system and software which independently collects the passenger information data from various service providers via Internet.

Alpha Point Ltd. will focus even more to public information systems. Devices are made by Alpha Point in Finland.

Alpha Point releases new products, AP3000 Multimedia - 30" flat TV/monitor.

AP3000 Multimedia is also a TV receiver and a computer monitor in the same device. Numerous connectors make it possible to use the monitor with many different devices. It represents the latest TFT technology which results in wide viewing angles and lightning fast display refresh rate.

Alpha Point Ltd. announces two new products to the AP1200/NAVI product family.

These new products further enforce the product family and bring along them a new feature: XGA resolution (1024x768) on a 12.1" TFT panel. It is a welcomed feature since it is often usefull and required to display more accurate information on smaller displays as well.

In addition to the exceptionally good resolution these new products offer wide viewing angles and a bright picture also for outdoor use in mind.

Alpha Point Ltd. now offers monitors to industrial etc. customers who are trying to find a replacement for their old industrial monitors.

"Sync on Green" is a way of graphics signal transfer where synchorization signals are embedded into the green color data signal. This is especially used in old RGB industrial monitors.

Sync on Green option makes it possible to use a modern Alpha Point TFT monitor instead of an old and bulky industrial CRT monitor (for example Conrac, Alcont, Altim). Connection interface is three BNC connectors (RGB).

This new option allows you to use most of our monitors as a replacement monitor when old industrial systems are renewed

The shipments of this new big screen monitor have now begun.

With its active display area the device is equivalent to a 23-24" large and heavy CRT monitor, which you can replace with the new and modern AP2000PRO as your PC systems monitor.

The monitor has a stylish, yet sturdy, new design polyurethane/steel housing.

It is designed for public places, ie. airports, bus and train stations, industrial and premises monitoring systems, ship bridges, special vehicles, studios and other similar applications.

AP1200 NAVI series - fully renewed

Company's 20th anniversary brought the new AP1200 Series to the market. For especially industrial and vehicle use 12.1" PC monitors and a compact and complete PC's come in a stylish - yet durable - PUR/steel housing.

All of the AP1200 series devicies can be equipped with integrated touch, membrane key mouse, standard or daylight TFT display, extended brightness control and a suitable monitor stand.

As a fore-runner of digital display technology Alpha Point offers a new effective cabling solution. Fully compliant with DVI standard, AP Opto Link accomplishes up to 500 meter cable lenghts with fibre optics, with SXGA resolution! DVI connectors at each end of the cable have integrated modulators that convert the (standard) electrical DVI signal to light and back to electrical signal at the receiving end. This enables the AP Opto Link to operate fully invisible between the PC and monitor: it fits to all standard DVI(-D) monitors/PC's. Fiber optic cable is also 100% invisible to EMI.
